On Mon.the 28th of May 2012 our fantastic u-8 team played in the Kilcummin blitz. This was the final night of a three week blitz. The Listry team played with great heart and hunted in packs to get the ball.
This is a great sign of a team and I’m sure this team will get a lot better as the year goes on. Our team was very well behaved, got some great scores and defended very well.
Well done to all our U-8 panel, some boys and girls put on the famous Listry colours for the first time and as we celebrate our 80th year the future looks great.
Thank you to the U-8 coaches,Richard Walsh,Tony O’Dowd and Paul O’Donoghue, you’re doing a great job and keep up the good work.
A big thank you to all the parents who transported the kids and also for the fantastic encouragement you gave to the team each night.
Training continues on Fri. evening at 6.30.It’s very important for all children to practice at home every evening.
Thank you, Murt Broderick
