Coaching officer Colman O’Shea has organised a football camp for national school boys and girls. The camp starts Tuesday 6th August and finishes on Friday 9th August. It will commence every day at 10.am and finishes at 2.00 pm.The cost of the camp is 30euro per child or 50 euro per family. All children attending the camp must bring mouth guards,a drink, lunch, sun cream, change of clothes, towel and if it’s very hot a baseball cap.
The idea of the camp is to have a week of collective training for the kids, improve the skill levels, have fun and a party for kids and parents on the final day.Kerry players will attend on the Friday. The camp also gives the regular coaches and parents a break from the usual Friday evening sessions. There is no training on the Friday evenings for August,so I hope as many kids as possible take part in the camp and if parents wish to help in coaching, catering or with spot prizes(final day fun) please contact Colman O’Shea 087-2182448 or Ann O’Brien 086-2154575.
It’s great to see so many young players offering to help Colman with the football camp, this is a great sign of the maturity our young players and a credit to the parents of Listry. Thanks again to Colman and Ann for the time and effort they have put into this camp, now, let’s support it and have fun.
