Listry started coming to the game after 10 minutes, with Ronan Buchanan and Mairéad Lehane starting to get a grip on midfield. Seamus Giles was now starting to dominate the full back line playing some lovely hand passes to Joseph Courtney who attacked brilliantly from half back.

Michéal Keane and Aaron Ó Shea were introduced and within one minute Michéal was involved in a goal which Aaron brilliantly finished with his first touch. Five minutes before half time Killian Broderick expertly finished to the net from a flowing move which involved James O’

Dowd, Eoin O’Donnell and Ruarí Murphy. Listry were down 2-3 to 3-4 at half time.

The second half begun with Ronan Buchanan dominating midfield and kicking some good scores from frees which he took off the ground. Two of these frees came from fouls on the lively Aaron O’Donoghue who won vital breaking balls. Ten minutes into the second half Eoin O’Donnell fielded along punt from Seamús Giles and turned to kick a great point.

Eoin then won the next kick out and again took a good score. Kilgarvan then responded with a quick goal and two points to leave the game in the balance.

Listry’s next score was a goal expertly finished by top marksman Aaron Ó Shea, this move was from a good kick out by Jack O’Leary to Ciara Tagney who hand passed to Aileen O’Leary. Aileen played a great kick pass to Ruarí Murphy who instinctively played a quick hand pass over the full backs head to Aaron Ó Shea who finished in the bottom corner.

Joe Clifford defended well from the front when introduced and made it very hard on the Kilgarvan back line to move the ball forward quickly.
