Listry U-8 boys played their first games of 2014 on Tuesday 6th May. The boys were taking part in the East Kerry go-games blitz in Fossa. Listry played Gneeveguilla and host club Fossa. Our young stars were very good and credit must go to U-8 coaches Fergus Clifford, Pat Fleming, Mike Breen and Paul Gosney.Some of the U-8 boys wore the green and white of Listry for the first time and the club welcomes our young stars.All our team played great football and the parents added to the occasion by applauding and encouraging all the boys.The blitz continues for another two weeks and don’t forget training continues every Friday evening 6.30 – 7.30. It is very important that the boys attend every training session, the coaches have a plan and if a kid misses a session they will fall behind very quickly. The more you practice the better you will be.
