Listry U-8s v Na Gaeil

      Sunday the 6th October 2013 was a super Sunday in Faha. At 11.00 a.m.  Na Gaeil GAA club from Tralee arrived to take on Listry U-8s.

With both clubs fielding 2 teams we had two fantastic games.It was great to have Listry senior footballers David Nolan and Anthony Kennedy to ref the games.Listry U-8s played fantastic football with great kicking,great defending,great use of the handpass and always working hard for the team.Both Listry teams were outstanding and gave the large crowd lots to cheer about.Thank you to another great Listry senior player Fergus Clifford,head coach of the U-8s and fellow coaches Pat Fleming,Mike Breen,Richard Walsh,Ger Foley and Ger Tangney for coaching the U-8 boys and girls every Friday evening and securing the future of our great club.Thank you to Frances,Liz and anyone else that helped to serve tea/coffee after the game.

      Thank you to Dermot Reen and NaGaeil for the games and I hope they had a good day out in Killarney.
