Humbly I write this Post, the first one this year, as we have reached a new milestone in the history of Listry GAA Online.
From its simple Start in 2010 on a Site built on multi layers and frames, to what you now view quickly and clearly (we hope) on your PC Tablet and more frequently your Smart Phone.
The site has evolved over the 10 years, and we hope you still enjoy visiting.
As well as the main site which brings in 1000s of views each week we also setup a Social Media presence on various Platforms.
These have enabled us to provide you with up to the minute Reports from the Matches as they happen through our PRO.
At present we have over 1700 followers on the Twitter Page @listrygaa, and
3000 of you on Facebook, @listrygaaonline. out of those 3000, 690 have liked the newish Listry GAA Page and we would ask if you have not already, to do so as that is where we post.
I would like to thank Pat Fleming and Anne Sugrue, who came onboard in January 2019, helping to maintain and run the Website.
Anne our PRO has also been behind the up to date Twitter posts at the matches, keeping you up to date of Listry’s progress.
I would also like to thanks members of the Club for their tireless contributions sent to us for posting. specifically:
Murt Broderick for all of his Reports.
Mike Kennedy, who over the years has provided us with Lottery Results and Match Reports.
Fergus Clifford for all of his Juvenile Reports among other things.
Mike Tangney for Merchandise information and more.
Anthony Clifford, the Clubs long standing, and much appreciated Secretary for all the information he sends over.
and others who have also sent things over throughout the years.
And so on the start of our 10th year together at Listry GAA Online, and on behalf of Pat, Anne and myself I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year, good luck to all our fantastic teams in 2020, and here’s to the next 10 years of bringing you the News and Updates of our great Club.
Up Listry
