Listry U-12 boys and girls had a fantastic challenge game v Glenflesk in Listry on Sunday 30th March 2014.Two evenly matched teams served up 60 minutes of great football. This was our third challenge game in as many weeks. First we played Spa and last week we played John Mitchels. Our new coaches,Brian McCarthy, Peter Keane, Tony O Dowd and Paul O Donoghue used all the panel in different positions and we are well prepared for the Co.league that starts next Sunday. I would like to thank all the panel for their attendance at training and don’t forget we have a special award this year for the kids that attend the most sessions. Thank you to our club referee John Courtney for reffing the game v Glenflesk, great to see a ref. properly togged out. Thank you to Edward O Donoghue for umpire duty.Thank you to Seán Moynihan and Glenflesk GAA club for coming to Listry.
Sunday was Mothers day and it was great to see so many proud mums supporting your great kids.
Thank you and well played to all our fantastic U-12 boys and girls you are getting better all the time. Best of luck to all in the Co.league next Sunday.
