This div 4 game played in Listry on Sunday ended in a draw which will keep Duagh in mid table and Listry still in the regulation zone. In spite of playing into a strong wind in the first half Listry started much the better team. They dominated possession but did not translate it into scores on the board. In fact after 10 minutes they had only 1 point to show but at this stage Derry Ahern scored the main score of the half when he rattled the net to put Listry ahead 11 to 03 after 15 minutes. Listry added 3 more points from Derry Ahern, Anthony Kennedy and Gary O Sullivan before half time to lead at the break 1-4 to 0-3. Listry continued to dominate but could only add 2 more points as the game entered the last quarter with the home team in front 1-6 to 0-3. The last quarter was controlled by Duagh who found their game after Denis Lane got the all important goal to bring them back into it. Duagh went on to score 3 further points without reply from Tim Donlan, Martin Scannell and Colm Horgan. Both teams missed chances to take all points from this game but Duagh will be the happier team as Listry did not take advantage of their dominance over the first three quarters of this game.
