Listry senior team took 2 very valuable points from their
encounter with Beal in Beale on Saturday evening last. Listry got of to the
better start and continued to lead for the duration of the first half. Beale
improved in the second half and in fact went ahead at one point but Listry
rallied to take both points on the score Listry 1-10 Beale 0-8. Although this
was an important win it does not get them clear of regulation. One more win
from their last two games may still be needed to avoid the drop in this very
tight division.
